For the very first beer event of this year I have chosen
something really special to serve you.
Once a year in December the Fifty Fifty Brewing Company
releases their Eclipse series of Totality Imperial Stout
aged in Bourbon/Whiskey barrels for a minimum of 180 days.

I will be pouring eight different Stouts from four different years.

MCAUSLAN ST. AMBROISE OATMEAL STOUT '2017' ~ CANADA
Oatmeal Stout that is very mild and so easy to drink, has hints of
chocolate and coffee

FIFTY FIFTY DONNER PARTY PORTER '2017' ~ U.S.A.
American Porter brewed with molasses and hand toasted oat flakes,
nice blend of espresso, dark chocolate and dried fruit, drinks more like
a brown ale than a porter

SPEAKEASY PAYBACK PORTER '2016' ~ U.S.A.
American Coffee Porter brewed with American hops, espresso, Baler's Cocoa
and dark imported malts; starts off a little bitter and ends with a sweet finish
of cocoa, dark fruit and roasted coffee

MODERN TIMES HAUNTED STARS '2017' ~ U.S.A.
Imperial Rye Porter brewed with NOLA Coffee from New Orleans, La.
coffee, chicory, vanilla chocolaty, spicy, malty

AVERY THE CZAR IMPERIAL STOUT '2016' ~ U.S.A.
American Imperial Stout, dark, rich taste of toffee, coffee, sweet molasses with
hints of fruit and anise, hints of spice from the Hallertau hops

STONE FARKING WHEATON WOOTSTOUT '2015' ~ U.S.A.
Imperial Stout brewed with cocoa, pecans, wheat, rye and aged in Bourbon barrels

STONE B/A MILK CHOCOLATE PORTER '2016' ~ U.S.A.
Imperial Porter brewed with Lactose and chocolate, aged in Bourbon,
Reposado Tequila & Red Wine barrels; first you taste the red wine,
chocolate & vanilla, then a hint of the Tequila and finish with the Bourbon
and vanilla finish

BREW REBELLION JOHN PAUL JONES IMPERIAL STOUT '2017' ~ U.S.A.
Imperial Stout brewed with fresh raspberries and white chocolate; smooth and
sweet with the flavors of the raspberries and white chocolate

MOTHER EARTH QUIT STALIN I.R.S. '2016' ~ U.S.A.
Imperial Russian Stout barrel aged in Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels
with coffee, toffee and vanilla notes
